Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou
canst make me clean.

of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw
Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you
are willing, you can make me clean."

while he was in one of the towns, there was a leper there: and when he saw
Jesus he went down on his face in prayer to him, saying, Lord, if it is your
pleasure, you have power to make me clean.

sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to
them."

Say nothing to any man, but let the priest see you and give an offering so
that you may be made clean, as the law of Moses says, and for a witness to

teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come from every village
of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem, were sitting there. And the power of
the Lord was present for him to heal the sick.

a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if
otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out
of the new agreeth not with the old.

parable: "No one tears a patch from a new garment and sews it on an old
one. If he does, he will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the
new will not match the old.
【BBE】And he said to them, in
a story, No man takes a bit of cloth from a new coat and puts it on to an old
coat, for so the new coat would be damaged and the bit from the new would not
go well with the old.
【ASV】And he spake also a
parable unto them: No man rendeth a piece from a new garment and putteth it
