3. The Lord made the son of the widow in the city of Nain rise (7:11-17).

4. The Lord healed the woman who was bent over (13:10-17).

5. The Lord healed the man who had dropsy (14:1-6).

6. The Lord healed ten lepers (17:11-19).

7. The Lord touched the ear of Malchus the bondman of the high priest and healed him (22:51).

II. The harmonistic syllabus of the Gospels:

1. The Lord cast out the spirit of an unclean demon in the synagogue of Capernaum (4:33-37; Mark. 1:23-28).

2. The Lord healed the fever of Peter’s mother-in-law (4:38-39; Matt. 8:14-15; Mark. 1:29-31).

3. The Lord cast out demons and healed persons with diverse diseases (4:40-41; Matt. 8:16-17; Mark. 1:32-34).

The Teachings of Jesus

2. That to whom many are forgiven, he loves more (7:44-50).

3. That no one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God (9:62).

4. That one rejoices more because his name is written in heaven than he overcomes the spirits (10:17-20).

5. That it is your Father's good pleasure to give the “little flock” the kingdom (12:32).

6. That the Lord came to send fire on the earth (12:49).

7. That how urgent the Lord is to be baptized with “the baptism” (12:50).

8. The Lord taught men to choose the lowest places when they are invited (14:7-10).

9. The Lord taught men to invite those who cannot repay them when they give a feast (14:12-14).

10. That God knows men’s hearts (16:14-15).

The Prophecies of Jesus

  I. The prophecies that are particularly recorded in the Book of Luke:

1. The Lord predicted that the city of Jerusalem would be destroyed (19:41-44).

2. The Lord predicted that which is written in the Bible must still be accomplished in Him (22:35-38).

II. The harmonistic syllabus of the Gospels:

1. The Lord predicted that He would suffer death for the first time (9:22; Matt. 16:21; Mark. 8:31).

2. The Lord predicted the coming of the Son of Man and someone would see the scene of the kingdom in advance (9:26-27; Matt. 16:27-28; Mark. 8:38-9:1).
